We hire dedicated freight broker agents to represent Highway Trotters and solicit customers, quote rates, and book and dispatch loads to carriers. We deal in all kinds of general commodities and maintain records and efficient documentation to facilitate the billing process.

Job Description:

Lead generation, converting new prospects into customers in order to develop a sales portfolio of our customers the shippers.
Identifying and selecting reputable and safety compliant carriers for freight haulage.
Ability to assess the market trends and the variation in freight haulage rates.
Maintaining current and up to date market knowledge and trends within the freight brokerage marketplace.
Providing customers with shipping quotes, booking orders with carriers, assisting to
prepare carriers for loads, tracking status of loads.
Collaborating with shippers, carriers and their dispatchers to manage scheduled pickups and delivery while staying up to date with all the relevant activities in order to update customers on the status of their loads under haulage.

Eligibility Criteria:

High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
Must have at least One year of solid working experience within the Freight brokerage industry in USA.
Existing customers & prospects base preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
Must possess analytical, problem solving & negotiation skills backed by an excellent verbal and written communication skill set.
Must be target driven to achieve the weekly and monthly sales targets.
